Because every member of the family deserves a full belly—even the furry, feathered, and four-legged ones.

We’re excited to share a new initiative that’s close to our hearts and inspired by the stories we hear every week in our Community Food Pantry.

Families in crisis are doing it tough—some are going without meals to ensure their pets don’t go hungry. We’ve spoken to parents who are sharing their cereal and bread with beloved dogs and cats, and to elderly community members prioritising pet food over their own essentials. These stories have one thing in common: unconditional love for a pet, and the need for just a little extra help.

That’s why Bridge Builders is launching the Pet Pantry—a dedicated program to provide pet food and supplies to families in need across Mandurah and the Peel region.

 What Will the Pet Pantry Provide?

• Emergency pet food (wet and dry)

• Kitty litter and hygiene items

• Treats, toys, collars, and leads

• Small animal and bird supplies

• Support for families doing it tough, so pets can stay where they belong—at home, with the people who love them

Want to Lend a Paw?

You can help us launch the Pet Pantry by hosting a Pet Supplies Drive! This is a fantastic way for local schools, businesses, clubs, and families to come together and support both people and their pets in our community.

We’re currently collecting: ✔️ Dog and cat food (all sizes) ✔️ Pet bowls, collars, leads ✔️ Kitty litter, pet shampoo, waste bags ✔️ Treats, toys, bedding ✔️ Bird, rabbit, and reptile supplies

Hosting a drive is easy, fun, and a meaningful way to give back. We’ll support you with posters, collection box labels, and social media shout-outs to help promote your effort.
