Supporting Local Families - One Baby Step at a Time.

Welcoming a new baby should be a joyful time - not a stressful one.

For many families in the Peel and Mandurah region, the financial burden of baby essentials can be overwhelming. For parents already facing hardships, the costs of nappies, formula, clothing, and other baby care products can add unnecessary stress. These essential items are often out of reach for families who are struggling to make ends meet.
 

That’s why Bridge Builders is in the process of launching the First Steps Baby Bank, a new initiative designed to provide critical support to parents and caregivers in need. Our goal is to offer free, essential items for babies and toddlers, ensuring that local families can focus on their children’s wellbeing rather than the stress of finding affordable baby essentials.
 

Currently, we are working to build community partnerships, secure sponsorships, and gather donations to make this program a reality. We’re excited to collaborate with local businesses, organisations, and individuals to ensure that we can offer this important service as soon as possible.

WHAT WE HOPE TO PROVIDE

Essential support for families 

The First Steps Baby Bank is designed to offer families the support they need to care for their little ones during difficult times. With the generous help of our community, we aim to provide:

  • Baby Essentials: Nappies (all sizes), baby wipes, baby formula, bottles, dummies, and baby food.

  • Clothing & Bedding: New and pre-loved baby clothing, blankets, cot sheets, and other bedding essentials.

  • Parent & Caregiver Support: Resources, information, and referrals to local services that can provide additional support to parents and caregivers.
     

By offering these essentials, we hope to ease the financial burden on local families, ensuring that every baby has access to the basic care they deserve, regardless of their family’s circumstances. With your support, we can build a community that helps families take those crucial first steps toward stability and wellbeing.

How You Can Make an Impact:

  • Donate Items: Your contributions, whether large or small, will directly support families in the Peel and Mandurah region. Every item donated is one step closer to helping a family in need. Donated Items can be dropped off at 370 Pinjarra Road, Greenfields Mon to Fri from 9:30am to 2:00pm alternatively give us a call to organise collection. 
     

  • Monetary Donations: Every dollar you donate goes directly toward purchasing baby essentials and supporting the growth of this vital program.
     

  • Be a Partner: Local businesses, organisations, and individuals are invited to partner with us. Whether through regular donations, sponsorships, or volunteer efforts, together we can create lasting change for local families.
